'Pokemon Legends Arceus' Agile, Strong Move Style Guide: How to Unlock Them, How to Use Them

'Pokemon Legends Arceus' Agile, Strong Move Style Guide: How to Unlock Them, How to Use Them

In the recently released Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players will travel across the vast region of Hisui, which will be famously known as Sinnoh.

The origin story of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will let them have the opportunity to catch Pokemon through battles while exploring the

However, unlike the old Pokemon games, Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a unique battle system that might give them an advantage against any opposing Pokemon, especially those they will encounter in the wild. These are called Move Styles, which will add more flair to several of the moves of their owned Pokemon.

Move Styles Explained

As mentioned earlier, Move Styles can give the players an advantage to every Pokemon battle in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. According to Dual Shockers, there are two kinds of Move Styles, the Strong Style, and the Agile Style.

If Strong Style is applied to a move, it will boost its power, further increasing the damage that it will deal with the opposing Pokemon, making it more effective. This buff can also be used in moves that are "not effective," or moves whose Types are the ones that the target has a Resistance on.

On the other hand, if Agile Style is applied, it will raise their Pokemon's attack speed, making it attack more often. This buff can also attack twice during a single turn, giving them a turn advantage.

However, these Move Styles have their own set of drawbacks. According to Game8.co, if the player uses the Strong Style to its Pokemon, it will cost its speed, delaying its attacks for the next turn. This will give the opposing Pokemon to attack more often. The said Move Style will also cost them double of the move's Power Point (PP).

On the other hand, if they use Agile Style, according to Dexerto, their Pokemon will do 40% less damage. This will make their moves have even lesser power despite the fact that they can still attack sooner than before.

Because of these setbacks, they must think about when they will use the Move Styles in a Pokemon battle. If they want to maximize their Pokemon's move count before their opponent gets their turn, they can use the Agile Style, as it can be helpful to them in longer battles.

On the other hand, if they want to deliver a powerful finishing blow to an opposing Pokemon, they can use the Strong Style. This will give them a chance to deal massive damage without worrying about the delayed turns.

How to Unlock Them

In order for players to use the Mover Styles in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, according to Gamepur, they will need to master the moves of the Pokemon that they have owned in the game by either leveling them up or by finding the Seed of Mystery in the game.

For the former, they just need to use the said moves repeatedly during a Pokemon battle, while for the latter, according to Gosunoob.com, they will need to complete first the "Coming Up Roses" request from a non-playable character (NPC) named Heimo.

Once they have completed the request and get the item, they will go towards Jubilife City and find the Training Grounds within the city. From there, they will need to search for another NPC named Zisu, who is standing near the entrance.

While talking to him, they will give him the seed, and then he will ask them what move the Pokemon wants to master.

After mastering a move, the Move Styles for it will be unlocked, and they will access their Agile Style or Strong Style by pressing either the L Button or the R Botton in their Nintendo Switch JoyCon.

Once they have selected what Move Style they will be using, they will press A, and their Pokemon will automatically execute their buffed move.
