In Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, players can restore cars that are available in the game, whether if it is pre-installed, came from the downloadable content (DLC) car packs, or downloaded as a car mod from the Steam Workshop, using more than 4,000 car parts.

They can either sell it for additional profit and for future car projects, as well as added car parts and upgrades, or keep it as part of their in-game garage collection.

They can also repair or restore different kinds of cars, ranging from classic Americana muscle cars to compact cars to sports cars to full-size sedans to hatchbacks to grand tourers to minicars.

One of the cars that are already available in the game is the Mioveni Urs, or in real life, it is the Dacia Duster, a compact crossover sports utility vehicle (SUV) that was manufactured by Dacia, the Romanian subsidiary of Renault. The said car have seen production from 2010 up until the present day.

How to Restore a Mioveni Urs

Players can find, and buy, the Mioveni Urs at the Junkyard, the Barn, the Car Salon, and the Car Auction. Once they have purchased the SUV, according to Boblas' YouTube video, they will wash the body and the interior in the Car Wash, then they will move it to one of the Car Lifts, which can be seen in the Garage.

From there, they will drain whatever oil that is remaining inside the SUV's engine using the Oil Drain machine, then they will drain the rest of the fluids such as the brake fluid, the coolant, the power steering fluid, and the windshield washer fluid using the Drain Tool.

After draining everything, they will disassemble the whole SUV, and get the parts that they need to repair and replace, until what is left on the Car Lift is the body frame, which they need to repair using the Wielding Machine.

Then, they will repair the parts that they can still use in the restoration project by placing them on Repair Tables that can be seen inside the Workshop. From there, they will play a minigame where they need to hit the green tabs in order to fully fix the said parts.

They will also need to recharge the battery, if the SUV has one installed inside, by placing it on the Battery Charger, while they need to remove the tires from their rims using the Tire Remover in order to fix the latter.

On the other hand, the parts that cannot be repaired will be sold instead for additional Credit, which they can use to buy new replacement parts, or Performance Parts, if they want to increase the Tuning percentage of the SUV. If it was bought from the Junkyard, they will also need to buy the parts that are missing.

Once they have the repaired and replaced parts, they can now start reassembling the whole Mioveni Urs, starting the engine, which is an I4 SOHC 4x4. They can also swap it with an I4 DOHC 4x4.

In order to build the said engine on the Engine Stand, they will need the engine block, the crankshaft, the pistons with their rings, the crankshaft bearing caps, the rod caps, the oil pan, the oil filter, the flywheel, the clutch plate, the clutch pressure plate, and the clutch release bearing.

They will also need the engine head, the camshaft, the camshaft caps, the engine head cover, the intake manifold, the throttle, the fuel rail, the fuel filter, the exhaust manifold, the spark plugs, the ignition coil, and the ignition wires.

They will also need the alternator, the power steering pump, the water pump, the cam gear, the timing belt, the belt tensioner, the timing cover, the crankshaft pulley, the idler roller, and the serpentine belts.

Once they finished building the whole engine, they will remove it from the Engine Stand, then they put it inside the engine bay using the Engine Pulley.

Then, they will install the SUV's internal parts such as the gearbox, the starter, the battery, the reservoirs, the brake servo, the ABS pump and module, the fuse box and the cover with the new relays and fuses, the air filter with the base, cover and clips, the ECU type A, the radiator with the fan, and the fuel tanks with the pump.

Then, they will install the rest of the parts, including those for the exhaust pipes, the suspension, and the braking system, as well as the tires with the rims, the body kit with the doors, the side mirrors, the lights, the windshield and the other glass panels for the windows, and the parts for their interior such as the seats and the steering wheel.

After reassembling the whole SUV, they will need to fill the engine, the brake servo, and the reservoirs with a new batch of oil and other fluids, then they will paint the body with the color of their choice in the Paint Booth.

Then, they will move the SUV to the Test Path room to realign the wheels and the lights, as well as to test the newly-installed braking system.

Afterwards, they will move it to the Dyno Test to tune up the gears in the gearbox and do a dyno test to check the performance of the newly-built engine. Once they are satisfied with the results, they can now test drive their own Mioveni Urs in either the Race Track or the Test Track.
