Kakao Games released the patch notes for Elyon's January 12 Patch Update, which added in a brand-new Archer Class that players can choose when they are making their new characters in the multiplayer online role-playing game.
The said patch update also brought in new events that players can participate in order to receive rewards, as well as several general changes and fixes.
What's New in Elyon
As mentioned earlier, one of the newest additions in Elyon is the Archer Class, which was described by the patch notes that was released in the game's website as a "remarkable hunter" whose range is the longest among the other classes that are available in the game.
It also has quick movement and charge skills that will give them advantage in battles, as well as an impeccable perception that they can use to detect enemies that are in stealth and punish those who are approaching them through sneak attacks, and abilities that can weaken them by draining their energy.

In order to master said class, they need to understand the essence of maintaining their distance with their targets. The further they are, the more damage they can deal to them.
In celebration of the Archer Class' inclusion in the game, according to WePC, Elyon launched a new Event that will give players who created a character for the said class that are leveling up to earn rewards along the way.
Those who leveled up their Archers to Levels 25 and 35 will be rewarded with 30,000 and 50,000 Gold, respectively, while those who hit Level 36 will receive the Tamed Forest Raptor item.
Archers that will hit Level 40 will not only get 100,000 Gold, but also a permanent in-game Title, while those who leveled up to Level 44 will receive the [Bind] Skill Attribute Summon Scroll item. Those whose Archers hit Level 45 will be rewarded with the exclusive Archer Weapon Skin.
Aside from the aforementioned Archer Class-centric event, the game will also have its "Beginner's Joy" event, where players who will be participating will get a chance to earn tickets by performing various in-game tasks.
They can exchange said ticket into items like the Brilliant Cleansing Stone, the Radiant Fragment Binding Stone, the Epic Reset Scroll Selection Box, the [Bind] Moment of the Steal Weapon and Armor Boxes, the Radiant Treasure Map Fragment, the Large Rune Powder Pouch, and the [Account] Refined Enhance Stone Selection Box.
On the other hand, another new event in Elyon, the "Balance Attunement" event, will give help to those who want to re-calibrate their character after the class balance changes made by the patch update.
Those who will be participating will receive 50 Balance Attunement Coins instead of their daily Playtime Rewards, which they can use to exchange with items such as the [Bind] Level 5 Runestone Selection Chest and the Safe Enhancement Tool, as well as Weapon and Armor Enhancement Scrolls, Equipment Random Effect-Changers, Random Equipment Effect Locks, and Unstable Catalysts and Catalyst Fragments.
Aside from these events, according to MMOs.com, the patch update introduced new items such as the Enhancement Slot Restoration Scroll, which they can use to revert any armor or weapon that were failed to be enhanced, and the Mysterious Rune Equipment, which they can use to reroll existing Runestone slots into Balance Runestone slots that can accept any types of Runestones.
Finally, the update also brought in balance adjustments such as a 35% maximum HP increase for all Classes, including the new Archer Class, and a 500% increase to basic drop rates in the open world.
