Epic Games Store will give away copies of the magical action-adventure indie game, "Mages of Mystralia," for free for a limited time only.
The said game is one of the few chosen ones that the players can download for free from the digital video game store's website for fifteen days as part of its Holiday Sale, which also brought in games whose prices were slashed up to 75% off, as well as $10 Epic Coupons, which they are also given away.
Bring in the Magic in Mages of Mystralia
Released in 2017 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch, by Borealis Games, Mages of Mystralia, according to Neowin, is an action-adventure game that utilizes a unique spell crafting system that allows its players to design their own magical powers to battle enemies and solve puzzles, while navigating its in-game overhead world.

According to PCGamesN, they will be playing as Zia, a young girl that is born with an innate sense of magic in a world where spells are banned.

After being exiled from her village, she went on a journey to hone her powers, as well as ways to control it, while meeting other exiled mages and discover runes that has mystical properties.
These runes, which are split into four -- Immedi, Actus, Creo, and Ego -- can be combined in different ways in order to come up with new spells that she can use in battle, ranging from fire blasts that shoots towards targets to ice-based ones that can be casted in an area.
Her journey will also take her in a middle of a war between the trolls and the Kingdom of Mystralia, where mages are forbidden, and it is up to her to prevent it, while discovering more of her destiny and uncovering an even more sinister plot.
The storyline behind Mages of Mystralia, according to Comicbook, was penned by Ed Greenwood, whose work on Dungeons and Dragons' Forgotten Realms was well known, while its music was composed by Nakama Shota, who is responsible for multiple game tracks for the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Tekken franchises.
How to Claim it for Free
Much like their previous giveaways, including their weekly Free Games, in order for players to get their free copy of Mages of Mystralia in the Epic Games Store, they need to go to the digital online video game store's website and look for the "Free Games" tab.
Then, click the "Free Now" button below it. Once you are in dedicated pages of either of the games, click the "Get" button. You must be logged in before you grab these free games.
Mages of Mystralia will be available in the Epic Games Store starting this December 27th, and they will claim it for free until December 28th at 11:00 AM EST (8:00 AM PST/4:00 PM GMT)
