There's a new trailer out for Call of Duty: Ghosts' next DLC, Devastation, offering a closer look at what the DLC has to offer, and it's infinitely more in-depth than the first brief sneak peek.
It starts with the Ruins map, set in what's left of a South American civilization, showing off the map's field order reward -- an erupting volcano. After that, the trailer goes through Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed, before showing off the next level of Extinction, Mayday, introducing two new creatures:
* Seeder, similar to the acid belching scorpion, but as its name implies, is capable of laying a plant type larvae, used to defend hives. It can also climb on ceilings, so have fun with that.
* Kraken - the second boss for Extinction, this tentacled mess dwarfs Extinction's last boss, the Breeder.
Finally, the DLC also adds in the new two-in-one Ripper rifle, which Season Pass holders have been playing around with since the beginning of the month. More on that here.
Check out the trailer below, and make sure you watch it all the way through to the end for a better look at the Predator.
At this point, it's unclear if the predator will be just another danger to be avoided, or if Devastation will give gamers the option of playing as the space hunter, not unlike Onslaught let gamers play as the William Shatner mask wearing boogeyman from "Halloween."
As per usual, Devastation hits Xbox platforms first later this week, April 3. Expect it on PC and PlayStation platforms in early May.
