PlayStation Turkey VP Sercan Sülün let something interesting slip during a recent show with CNN. According to the Sony spokesman, it seems that Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed The Last of Us is heading towards the PlayStation 4, complete with enhanced graphics.
You can see the video of the show here, with the crucial information revealed around the 36:00 mark, but you'll need a basic understanding of Turkish to process the discussion.
According to a translation provided by a NeoGAFfer, Sercan Sülün said that "a sequel is not coming right now as far as I know, but I can say that the first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics."
The only downside? No one's sure whether or not this is legit. You see, local execs haven't always had the best track history with this sort of thing. And with no word from anyone else at Sony, or developer Naughty Dog for that matter, it's hard to make heads or tails of this.
Speaking personally, The Last of Us is actually what kept me from setting up my PlayStation 4 for so long. I had to beat the game first, because I had a sneaking suspicion that as soon as I bothered to set up the new system, I'd get a bit... distracted.
We'll keep you posted if anyone confirms whether or not the game is indeed heading to PS4.
