Where conventional and conservation media seems supporting US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, some public platforms have been favouring her rival Donald Trump. "The Crusader", one of the Ku Klux Klan newspapers is the latest one to endorse the latter.
US presidential election 2016 is around the corner and it is one of the biggest issues at the moment, besides World War 3 speculations as well as other conflicts going on across the globe. In such a scenario, a media outlet or its subsidiary supporting a particular election nominee is a major issue. However, "The Crusader" is not the only one that is endorsing a candidate.
Traditional newspapers, including "The Dallas Morning News" and "The Cincinnati Enquirer", have been observed promoting Clinton for the upcoming elections scheduled on November 8. On the other hand, NPR stated that there are some of the media outlets that have neutral views and they do not try and influence the voters by giving bias opinions.
KKK's "The Crusader" featured a cover story on the Republican candidate defending his strategies and other controversial aspects. The "Make America Great Again" banner captured the entire front page, which has been taken as nothing but an endorsement of Trump in its current issue.
"The Crusader" author Thomas Robb used a defensive tone for the Republican US presidential candidate and wrote that the nominee always focuses on "Make America Great Again" slogan. He added that Trump has been repeating the same all the time, which showed how effective it will be to vote for as the next president.
Although Trump focuses on the slogan, Robb continued, it is important to know if America can ever be great again. He, according to The Washington Post, also criticized the making America great slogan for the country and asked if America ever made it to being great. "The short answer to that is simple. America was great not because of what our forefathers did - but because of who our forefathers were," "The Crusader" author wrote.
