In a two-day event in Los Angeles, the costumes and props used in vampire romantic saga Twilight will be put for auction in November.
It will give the fans and followers an ideal opportunity to bid for their favourite items from the series and adorn themselves. According to media reports, almost 900 items will be put for bidding from which the fans can choose any item. The items used by the very popular Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will be featured in the event.
Enough of visiting prop stores in search of Twilight items. Props will now visit the fans to let them buy the same. Remember the engagement ring that Pattinson's character Edward Cullen offered to Bella Swan role played by Stewart. The ring will also be showcased along with other items seen in the adult series. The ring, as expected, will be the most sought after items for the female fans of the saga's male protagonist.
Besides the costumes and props, Twilight furniture and other master pieces will also be bid for. Summit Entertainment and Prop Store will auction the materials between November 19 and 20 at Hollywood's TCL Theaters. The auction will also stream online on both the days via the official website of the prop store, US Magazine reported. In addition to Bella's engagement ring, the Twilight auctions will also have Lautner's character Jacob Black's motorcycle, as well as the vintage-designed crib used by the protagonist couple's daughter Renesmee Cullen.
It is expected that the Twilight bidding for items would generate huge revenue ranging from $1,000 to $7,000. "This is the very first opportunity for Twihards to get their hands on this gear," Prop Store LA's Brandon Alinger said as quoted by Sky News. "As far as I'm aware no authentic Twilight material has ever been sold in the past." Alinger stated that the items were kept in store following the end of the shooting of the Twilight series after the last sequel released four years ago.
