"The Great Indoors" is on "greenlight" for its forthcoming adventurous showing in the CBS network. After several negotiations early this year, finally the series will get to the airwaves earlier than expected by its expectant viewers.

According to Variety, "The Great Indoors" will star Joel McHale as Jack Gordon, after his 12 -year stint as host of the "The Soup" show. Gordon is presented as a reporter who rose to become the head of millennials in the "The Great Outdoors" magazine outfit.

"The Great Indoors" features Gordon as the outgoing and adventure-loving reporter but was injured. Roland (Stephen Fry), who is the owner of the magazine re-assigned him in the office to handle the web publishing department, which he actually doesn't like.

Getting inside "The Great Indoors", home viewers of the small screen can expect a great American dramedy very soon. According to CBS, the series is the newest sitcom that unravels oddity and complexities in the real world of reporting.

McHale likened "The Great Indoors" as the landmark of the comeback of the drama comedy titled "Community" which was piloted by the NBC network. However, the show was removed from the air waves to the disappointment of the million followers.

"The Great Indoors" employs a power-packed casts that brings in Brooke (Susannah Fielding) of "Catastrophe", Clark (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) of "Superbad" and Emma (Christine Ko) of "Ballers".

"The Great Indoors" is targeting for a big broadcast of the Millennials adventure with Jack on October 27. To be unwrapped on the viewers' screens are Jack's difficulties to be on top of the situation as his staff would give him a peek of the vast outdoor adventures.
