The Cuccos are found in every “The Legend of Zelda” game and the latest franchise is no exception. In “Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, Link is tasked to find seven lost Cuccos in the Kakariko village. So this guide reveals the location of all seven Cuccos to quickly finish the side quest “Flown the Coop”.
How to Start the Side Quest “Flown the Coop”
As soon as Link talks with Cado in the village, Gamerant says the task to find the seven Cuccos will start. For players that haven’t started the side quest yet, don’t worry all you need to do is find Cado and talk to him. He should be in the chicken coop during daytime and stand outside the house of Impa during night time.
Location of all 7 Cuccos in the Game
When the side quest has been activated, Link must head to the entrance of the village and start hunting Cuccos. From the entrance, iDigital Times reported that Link must go down the slope to find the first Cucco on top of the little canopy in the fence at the left side. The next Cucco should be easily spotted from the same spot where the green crops next to the yard are found.
As for the third Cucco, it should also be quickly seen in the garden by the growing swift carrots. Next is the fourth carrot which is found when players go down the hill. It should be right in the middle of small trees in a fence. However, players can only get this Cucco after five when the woman named Mellie is off duty. Mellie is the person in charge of guarding the place so if she sees Link jumping the fence, he will be asked to leave quickly.
The fifth Cucco can be found in the fire pit found in the center of the village while the sixth one is hiding in the grasses close to the shrine. Last but not the least, the seventh Cucco is found when Link jumps off the cliff from the spot where he found the sixth Cucco. He should be able to glide over through the roof of the clothing shop with his paraglider to find the last Cucco.
