Blizzard Entertainment has been reportedly teasing "Overwatch" fans for the last few days. The developer apparently released some information about their upcoming DLC character for the team-based shooter. Reports have indicated that the Numbani map in the Public Test Region (PTR) has been updated. The latest changes hinted about a recent attack and involve the Doomfist's gauntlet.
The developer posted a tweet on Friday that details a confrontation that happened in the airport terminal in the city. The message mentioned "OR15 defense units destroyed" and it has been noted that it was during a battle with an "unidentified assailant." The game's map has also reportedly updated to show the aftermath of the incident, which was initially detailed on the developer's tweet, says Game Rant.

In the latest "Overwatch" PTR update for Numbani shows multiple destroyed OR15 units scattered around the airport. One unit in particular is show stuck to a wall after most likely being thrown or punched by the attacker. However, one of the most interesting changes reported by players of Blizzard Entertainment's shooter happens to be with the payload vehicle. Previous news articles like the one from Gamenguide have reported that some players found a new in-game model for the payload, which shows the broken container of Doomfist's gauntlet.
Players have confirmed that the new payload model in the test region is indeed updated. The enclosure for the gauntlet is now shattered and the weapon itself is missing. Another notable hint can be found on the final spawn point for defenders, where the schematics for the weapon are no longer present. PC Gamer has reported before that the game director Jeff Kaplan already teased fans about the next character. He reportedly said "24 is not who you think it is," which led fans to believe that it might be another character instead.
However, the latest "Overwatch" speculations claim that the new content might be a PVE event, wherein players have to fight against an enemy involved with the disappearance of Doomfist's gauntlet in Numbani. A few days ago, Blizzard Entertainment teased a new character called Efi Oladele, described as an 11-year old girl, who is reportedly talented when it comes to artificial intelligence and robotics. It seems fans just need to wait for more clues to surface on the PTR next couple of days.
