'Final Fantasy XV' Gets Cup Noodle As Noctis Helmet, But No Special Function; Newegg Has Price Roll Back For 'Street Fighter,' 'Attack On Titan' & More'

The "Final Fantasy XV" developers' collaboration with the popular cup noodles maker Nissin has resulted in a new Boss Collection Bonus. Note that in the bonus, the "Final Fantasy XV" character Noctis gets a new helmet and it is in fact a cup noodle. In the meantime, newbies to the "Final Fantasy XV" game may grab their copies at specially marked down prices over at Newegg.

The Helmet is Just Props

It should be noted that only those who opt to get their own limited edition Cup noodles set "Final Fantasy" Boss Collection may receive the bonus code. The code may then be used to unlock the cup noodle helmet for Noctis in "Final Fantasy XV." Unfortunately, the hilarious new element for Noctis has no special functions.

It remains to be unclear whether or not all gaming platforms are supported. However, it is speculated that the PS4 code may work only for the Japanese version of "Final Fantasy XV." It is yet to be revealed if the DLC will be available to "Final Fantasy XV" players in the west.

The official page of "Final Fantasy XV" noted that the instructions for downloading the bonus element will be included in the product. Note that the download will be available from summer and may not have the power to control floating forks, Dual Shockers  reported. Furthermore, the Nissin Cup Noodles also appear throughout the game and the manufacturer also published two commercials which also showcased the cup noodle helmet.

"Final Fantasy XV", "Watch Dogs 2", "Gears of War 4" Prices Roll Back

In other news, Newegg has been offering a number of deals lately with its latest deal offering 50 percent off on selected video games and accessories. However, the deal may not include open box and refurbished items. Furthermore, orders above $10,000 are also inapplicable, Gamezone reported.

"Final Fantasy XV" Collector's Edition also sells at reduced prices along with "Street Fighter V", "Attack on Titan" and "Dead Rising 4." Furthermore, accessories like headsets, a keyboard and off-brand controllers are also price reduced. It should be noted that for the 50 percent discount to take effect, the Code: EMCRCBG36 may be applied. Watch a "FFXV" and Nissin Collaboration video here:
