Though Titanfall has dropped on Xbox One and PC, PlayStation 4 is still waiting for its first major exclusive. Luckily, Infamous: Second Son is on its way to the console soon, releasing on March 21. Also fortunate is the new nearly nine-minute gameplay video of the title, straight from PlayStation themselves.
We saw some leaked footage a while back, which showed off the Neon power you can use as main character Delsin Rowe, a man with superhuman powers known as a Conduit. He's teaming up with an associate, fellow Conduit Fetch Walker, to take out some protestors and guards in this clip.
The video shows off a lot of different ways to use the powers to transport yourself and fight enemies. It also shows an option to be benevolent by helping injured citizens and gain "Good Karma", or harm them for "Evil Karma", which hints at the game's morality system.
Delsin is very mobile with the use of the Neon power, quickly teleporting or float across rooftops. There's a very cool dive-bomb attack that you can do if you jump from an aerial position as well. The battles take place in a variety of locations and looks like they can be pretty varied, especially across a multiple levels that focus on different powers.
The upload quality on the footage isn't great, which is coming from odd from an official account. The game looks pretty good, but it's a bit hard to tell as the video is a little muddy, even on 1080p, but I'm fairly sure it's not the game's fault.
Gamers excited to have a big title for their PlayStation 4 will only have to wait a little longer. The new, not very spoiler-filled gameplay footage is below. If you want to spoil the game for yourself (especially after waiting so long!), there's a video out there of the first 20 minutes.
