After its hit Halloween event, Niantic is cooking something to celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14. According to Gadgets NDTV, players can enjoy increased chances of finding rare pink Pokemons like Jigglypuff, Clefable, Exeggcute, Chansey, Porygon and many more.
In the duration of the event, catching, hatching, and transferring Pokemon will reward players with double candy. And since it's love month, Pokemon partnerships are encouraged. Buddy Pokemons have increased chances of finding cool stuffs quickly.
Mirror reports that the biggest catch of Niantics Valentine Event for "Pokemon Go" is the extended lure time. The lure will last six hours, read that right, six long hours instead of the normal half hour limit. This will greatly increase the chance for players to successfully catch rare Pokemons.
Lures which can be found in Pokestops help attract all types of Pokemon and lure them towards the Pokestop, eliminating the need for players to go elsewhere. The Pokemon Valentine Day update is made available for both Android and iOS platforms which can be updated from the respective app stores.
