One of the February 2017 games releases is Team Ninja's "Nioh" for PS4, which will be released on the seventh, and reportedly set in a fictional version of the 17th century Japan led by a Western samurai William Adams. Reports indicate that William will have to fight the yokai and human enemy threats while in Japan that is bringing trouble across the country.
Although similar in some aspects to "Dark Souls," "Nioh" is unique in terms of style. February 2017 games also include "For Honor," which is set for release on Feb. 14 for Xbox One, PS4 and the PC. Based on reports, the game pits historical warriors such as medieval knights, samurai and Vikings against one another in a fantasy setting, featuring brutal melee combat in numerous online multiplayer modes and story campaign.
Releasing on the 21st, "Halo Wars 2" on Xbox One and the PC is confirmed to be part of the February 2017 games. A real-time strategy game, "Halo Wars 2" is a sequel to the 2009's "Halo Wars" that follows the story of Capt. Cutter and the UNSC Spirit of Fire crew as they battle a strong Brute faction.

February 2017 games releases for PS Plus will be given free to all its subscribers. Sony finally confirmed the information following a previous leak that "Not a Hero" and "LittleBigPlanet 3" will be available for PS4 PlayStation Plus subscribers beginning Feb. 7, Game Zone reported.
