More details have finally been released about the first paid expansion update for “Battlefield 1” They Shall Not Pass DLC. It includes four new maps and army in French theme and many more. Although no exact release date has been given, the company hinted it should be sometime in March 2017.
A few days ago, a teaser for the new and upcoming update has been released by EA and DICE. It is the first paid expansion pack out of the four updates planned for the game. The teaser promised more details will be revealed soon and that’s exactly what they have provided recently.
The They Shall Not Pass DLC includes new items, weapons, modes, maps and a lot more. According to Gamerant, it includes maps named Fort Vaux, Verdun Heights, Rupture, and Soissons. In addition, it will also have a new French army called Frontlines and a new vehicle called Char 2C tank. The tank is designed based on the same tank in Great War and comes with very useful features.
Gamespot also reported that there will also be a new class created for the elite and it will be called the Trench Raiders. This class uses a Raider Club and will be able to use a powerful grenade arsenal. Moreover, the update also have a new field gun called the Siege Howitzer which can be used by infantry players.
But one of the things that really made players excited is the new mode that is described to be a mix of Rush and Conquest.“Both teams fight for one flag at a time and when this objective is captured the action moves on to the next. Capture the enemy’s HQ control point and the game turns into a Rush-style section where telegraph posts need to be attacked or defended.” Stated in the official description of the update.
