“Tom Clancy’s The Division” is UbiSoft’s attempt at finding its place in the big MMO market. This mixture between RPG and third person shooter had a rough start, but for now things seem to be going steadily. Patch 1.6 is coming live and here are the newest changes which follow it.
Game Rant shares good news for those of you who seek heightened challenge in the world of “The Division”. A new difficulty has been implemented in three of the missions. These are “Napalm Production Site”, “WarrenGate Power Plant”, “Times Square Power Relay”.
The new difficulty will completely strip the game of narrative and checkpoints and will be fully oriented towards delivering a 100% action packed combat experience. To access the legendary difficulty you must have reached “World Tier 5”. So, farm the strongest gear that you can get your hands on, gather higher gear score and challenge the elite LMB forces on the three chosen maps.
More information on the changes coming to “The Division” with patch 1.6 has been shared by Worth Playing. The named items in the game will now carry their own title “Exotic Items” and will have their own color coding within the inventory screen. This way, players will be able to more easily recognize these items. Each Exotic weapon will have its own unique talent, bringing higher collector’s value to the items, besides the high stats they give.
Exotic items do not come alone, but have been introduced in sets. Exotic set items will sometimes have their talents locked away until you collect the whole set. Be wary not, since collecting the set will unlock talents which are considered to be more powerful they their single-item counterparts. If you cannot wait to get your hands on one of them, there will be Exotic chest available as a weekly reward for successfully completing legendary missions.
The official “Tom Clancy’s The Division” site shares further news about changes coming to the game with the release of the newest patch. For those of you who love exploring the Dark Zone, there is good news coming from the Northern Front. The north most sections of the Dark Zone have been unlocked, giving players access to Dark Zone 7,8 and 9.
Just like the previous zones, these will have landmarks and NPC’s roaming, but the danger will be higher than ever, since there are a lot of challenging surprises waiting for the players who have decided to roam the newest sectors. “Tom Clancy’s The Division” is available on PC, PS 4 and XBOX One.
