Just before Bandai Namco announced the official release date for "Tekken 7," sources have found information about the game's Deluxe and Collector's Edition contents. The leak supposedly came from an error by a retailer from the U.K. and reveals in-game content, Which apparently matches some of the speculated pre-order bonuses for the game.
Game Rant says the Deluxe Edition will obviously include the game and a season pass. The season pass will reportedly give users new characters, stages and costumes during the game's schedule content updates. It will also deliver a new game mode, which as of now has not been given any details. The scheduled season pass update timeframe also remains unclear.
The "Tekken 7" Deluxe package comes with two additional fighters and an additional 30 metallic costumes. Players who pre-order the game will reportedly receive Eliza as a bonus fighter. She initially appeared in "Tekken Revolution" and was also the winner of an online vote held by Bandai Namco. Its indicated retail price is set at $74.99.
A statue of Kazuya Mishima fighting his father Heihachi Mishima is included in the Collector's Edition bundle of the game. The figures are locked in battle with Kazuya executing a mid-air kick, while Heihachi blocking his attack with a palm strike. The bundle will include a soundtrack CD, a steelbook case and a copy of the game. The $149.99 set will also include the same season pass and additional characters from the Deluxe copy. Eliza is also offered as the pre-order bonus fighter for those who choose to get the Collector's variant.
Bandai Namco also confirms some added bonuses for its consumers who pre-order "Tekken 7." Destructoid notes that players who secure their copies for the Playstation 4 will score some legacy costumes for Xiaoyu, Jin and King. PS4 players will also get a jukebox mode for the fighting game. Meanwhile, Xbox One users will also receive "Tekken 6" when they order the game. The game is set to officially launch on June 2, 2017 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
