Nintendo’s long anticipated consoles “Switch” has finally received its official reveal. During a conference in Tokyo, live streamed through Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, all the important information surrounding Nintendo’s new product has been revealed.
Game Rant has shared some of the specs of Nintendo’s new console “Switch”. Every ordered unit of the Nintendo “Switch” will be shipped together with a TV-Dock, which is used as a charging station for the console, two Joy-Con controllers, which can be placed on the side of the tablet’s screen to be used while mobile and a Joy-Con strap, similar to the one of the Nintendo “Wii” controller. The console’s portable screen is supplied with two speakers on the bottom of the screen and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Additional information on the games coming with the Nintendo “Switch” console has been shared by CNET. The games which will populated the catalogue of the “Swtich” console are both local multiplayer oriented and titles for a single player. Among the co-op titles are series of casual games, which do not even require the participants to look at the screen. Short burst challenges like quick draw and similar will create the ultimate face-off while on the road. Among the strong single person oriented titles are “Splatoon 2”, “Arms”, the newly released “Super Mario Odyssey”, “Xenoblade Chronicles 2” and many more. Great news for “Skyrim” fans is that Bethesda has announced an official release of their cult RPG title on the Nintendo” Switch”.
Mirror UK reports that the new Nintendo “Switch” console has been expected on the market since its announcement back in October, 2016, but now, the official date has been confirmed and it is March 3, 2017. The gaming console will cost $299, but the online network will be on a subscription basis which has still not been settled down on a price.
Among other interesting specifications are the integrated memory of 32GB’s, a battery which can hold from two and a half to six hours, depending on the games’ expenditure of power. Games will be released on cartridges which highly resemble the ones used on the Nintendo “3DS” system. Nintendo “Switch” will be released for purchase on 3 March, 2017, Worldwide.
