Microsoft sure knows how to celebrate the holidays the right way, what with the massive deals made available on the Xbox Store. Indeed, Xbox One players can indulge in a wide and appealing variety of discounted game titles.
As the Xbox Store's "biggest sale ever," as described by Microsoft itself, the "Countdown to New Year" sale opens a world of mouthwatering price cuts for the Xbox One's loyal following. Xbox Live Gold members have greater chances for savings on their preferred games through daily deals on featured items for up to 75% off.
Square Enix stars with its eye-popping discounts for game titles such as "Life is Strange" and the all-new "Final Fantasy XV." For as little as $5, Xbox Live Gold members can download all of Life is Strange's five episodes. Digital Trends also noted that Final Fantasy XV is available to Gold members for a discounted price of $45.
Polygon reported that while Gold members can enjoy a wider range of discounts, the sale's perks is also available to all Xbox One players. Plus, all downloads counted until the last day of the year - the sale's final day, will be credited to every player's MyVIP Star Rank. Also, now's a particularly good time for game downloads, what with Microsoft's latest update on the Xbox One that enables the console to have faster download speeds.
