NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is slated to get pre-orders already as the Senior Marketing Manager of the company reportedly posted the information via LinkedIn along with an offer to upgrade to the newer card. Rumor has it that the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is being prepared for a CES 2017 release from Jan. 5-8, 2017. In addition, the RX 490 is also believed to be launched during the said event and may be cheaper than the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti.

NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Leaks Were Discovered In Job Posting On LinkedIn

While the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti in the works has been no secret, the company opted to kept mum about the progress of the graphics card in the past few months. However, recently a job posting was reportedly discovered containing leaks that the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti was ready for pre-orders, accorrding to report. Apparently, the post noted that 980 Ti users are to be served first for NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti pre-orders.

It has also been revealed that the company may be offering the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti as part of their Step Up offer. Hence, GeForce GTX 980 Ti users may be the first to pre-order the yet unannounced GPU. It is further believed that the upgrade offer will only collect the amount based on the difference between the prices of the new and old cards.

NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Is More Expensive Than RX 490 During Launch

In other news, it has been speculated that the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti may launch with an $800 price tag. On the other hand, gamers on a budget may opt for a more affordable alternative. On that note, the cheaper AMD RX 490 is expected to be revealed during the CES 2017 as well, Tech Radar reported.

NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti benchmark leaks have also been spotted online showing 3,328 CUDA cores clocked at 1,503MHz with 1,623MHz maximum. In addition, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti may sport 10GP of GDDR5 memory and 480 Gbps of bandwidth.
