‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’ Christmas, New Year, Special Anniversary Challenges Revealed

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" gamers now have the chance to get special weapon charms when completing specific tasks. Ubisoft has prepared a set of in-game challenges to celebrate Christmas, New Year, as well as the gaming title's one year anniversary.

Several "Rainbow Six Siege" challenges await avid players during the festive holiday season with special reward items that include Christmas-themed charms and weapon skins. As part of Ubisoft's special anniversary and holiday treat for gamers, the gaming company set up time-limited challenges where rewards vary depending on the task and week period.

For the Christmas holidays, players can get two Santa-themed charms and a special weapon pattern. The challenge schedule for the week of Dec. 20 until Dec. 27, as compiled by Game Spot, involves completing a specific kill count using gadgets or melee. A Sneaky Santa or Invisible Hat charm and a Tactical "Kapkan" Santa charm will be rewarded to players with kill counts of 10 and 20, respectively, while 30 kills will unlock a Christmas Nutcracker-themed weapon pattern.

With the upcoming New Year week, the Dec. 27 to Jan. 3 challenge is focused on attaining a score of 4,000 points. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) to reach the said score will be rewarded with a Disco Ball charm.

Meanwhile, given the game's recent first year anniversary, Ubisoft also prepared two "Rainbow Six Siege" challenges that will unlock special charms. The first challenge that will run from Dec. 20 until Dec. 27 requires gamers to win 10 rounds with GIGN Operators to get Twitch's Shock drone charm, while the second challenge scheduled on Dec. 27 until Jan. 3 also has a similar win rule but with FBI Swat Operators to get Castle's Icon charm.

In other news, a latest "Rainbow Six Siege" patch update introduced several improvements and changes to Ubisoft's game. Weapon updates included enhancements to the game's SMGs and assault rifles. Tachanka also received several buffs while a new map gave players the chance to explore the Barlett University.

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" latest update was released on Dec. 15. Learn more about the game's recent patch in the clip below:
