"The Last of Us" is one of the most successful games out in a PlayStation gaming console of this generation that in fact, it was remastered for the release of the PlayStation 4 on 2015. Fans of the game were mesmerize when Naughty Dog revealed "The Last of Us 2" on the PlayStation Experience and reports suggest that the game developers are currently busy in making the game's sequel.
Where Does Naughty Dog Currently Stand On 'The Last of Us 2?'
According to Naughty Dog director Neil Druckman's Twitter post, "The Last of Us 2" is currently on the stage of character modeling with Druckman posting at photo with Ashley Johnson, who plays Ellie on the game's sequel. The photo's background looks like a motion capture room with Johnson holding the knife that Johnson used during "The Last of Us" mo-cap sessions.
Meanwhile, Ashley Johnson herself posted on Twitter with the "Blindspot" actress twirling the same knife to be used for the game's motion capture sessions. It is safe to say that Naughty Dog is currently doing one of the steps in developing "The Last of Us 2."
"The Last of Us 2" will be led by Ellie, replacing Joel as the main protagonist with the story jumping ahead of time where Ellie is now a young adult. Ellie will be older to defend herself from zombies and humans alike, but Ellie was then capable of taking matters to herself in the game's prequel.
