The Sparrow Racing League Quest in "Destiny" is currently underway, providing players with many opportunities to acquire special items and weapons. "Destiny" players can also get the new Sparrow The Poison Apple by following the tips below.
The 'Destiny' Speed Kills Quest
GameRant reported that The Dawning, the current December live event of "Destiny," has a new quest that can be taken on by players to hopefully acquire the Poison Apple Sparrow. Go to Amanda Holliday after reaching Rank 2, to be given the Speed Kills quest.
If the quest remains unavailable, gamers should play more SRL and get the related daily bounties to progress faster. Bungie noted that the quest can only be picked up during the ongoing "Destiny" event, although it can be completed at any time, even after The Dawning ends on Jan. 3, 2017.
To begin the Poison Apple Sparrow quest in "Destiny," players have to kill Devil Splicers in the Plaguelands, which can be done in various places like Archon's Forge, on Patrol or Story Missions that happen in the Plaguelands. It will require about 100 kills to finish the first step. The second step in the quest requires "Destiny" players to defeat Champions in the Challenge of the Elders.
Although some players may not have much experience playing Challenge of the Elders, the Light level has been increased to 400, which makes it easier to play, even when going solo. Acquire an Elders' Sigil from Variks in the Reef and join the Challenge of the Elders alone or with friends. Kill the bosses on every stage.
Complete the Story Missions
Twinfinite stated that the Speed Kills quest will require "Destiny" players to finish the Story Missions Fear's Embrace and Outbound Signal again. They have to complete the mission within the time limit, although players will find it easier with the increased Light level. The missions will be shown with the purple active quest notification.
Finally, go back to Amanda Holliday in the Tower to complete the quest and acquire the Poison Apple Sparrow. The item does not actually provide any significant boost to the player, but will be a great addition to the collection of avid "Destiny" players. "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
