Titanfall Beta Extended, Now Open For Both Xbox One and PC Gamers

Respawn Entertainment has decided to do the insane and open up their hugely anticipated Titanfall beta to everyone. Right now Xbox One gamers can just start up their console and dive right in- PC gamers still have to register but everyone with those platforms can get into the action. Boy, you must feel real dumb if you paid a hundred dollars for a code on eBay now, huh?

You don't need a code to get into either beta now but you do need to have requested a beta code to gain access to the PC version. Gamers will also have at least one more day to play the beta, as they've announced that it will be extended until "at least" Thursday. Previous plans had it ending at 6:00PM tomorrow but this gives them more time to test the servers.

Those servers have been taking a beating, with many connection problems popping up, but that's the whole point of the beta after all. It's one thing for a game to have bugs and server issues during an unfinished test of a game and quite another to have all those issues when it's in stores. Just ask Battlefield 4. At least gamers who have had problems connecting to the servers at all now have some more time to get through as Microsoft and Respawn work at fixing the issues.

So, what are you waiting for? Dive right into the Titanfall beta as soon as possible and enjoy it for the next couple of days. Xbox One gamers will be able to find it right on their dashboard. The full game hits March 11th for Xbox One and PC, with the Xbox 360 version (developed by Bluepoint Games with help from Respawn) hitting shortly after.
