"Final Fantasy XV" has only been out for only a few weeks and players are already looking for some new juice to spice up the game. Since the game spent ten years in development, avid fans are expecting more from the game's DLC expansion packs.
In a previous report here on Game N Guide, it was stated that "Final Fantasy XV" will release six expansion packs in the future. Four of the said DLCs will focus on Noctis and his band of loyal companions. One DLC for each of his best friends, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladiolus, while the fourth will be the Comrade DLC. Having the first three DLCs is required to play Comrade DLC since it will allow all four party members to be controlled via a four-man co-op mode.
Although the release date for these new DLCs for "Final Fantasy XV" has yet to be announced, word on Gladiolus' DLC is spreading. VG 24/7 reports that Haruyoshi Sawatari revealed that the Gladiolus DLC will feature the story of the bodyguard's disappearance before they traveled to Altissia. Moreover, it was also revealed that a classic boss monster will be featured in the game for the first time.
Apparently, Gladiolus will face Gilgamesh in his DLC and will have to fight it on his own. There has yet to be any teaser about Gilgamesh or what it would look like in "Final Fantasy XV," considering how wonderfully spiced up Shiva is in the latest FF game, fans have high hopes for "Gilgamesh."
The DLCs planned for "Final Fantasy XV" will allow the player to go through the main storyline in a different way, through different eyes, using a different character. Notable moments in the story that happened off-screen might be featured in these DLCs, including the painful moment Ignis lost his eyesight.
In other news, Cinema Blend reports that Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda may appear as a corporate boss in the Holiday DLC for "Final Fantasy XV." Excited to see Noctis face against Matsuda? Stay tuned to Game N Guide for more updates.
