Good news for you Drakengard fans, as you finally have a date to look forward to. Square Enix recently made a slew of announcements for the third game in the series, the most important of which is that Drakengard 3 hits the states this May. And if you want to make sure you get a copy, better put in a call or order with your preferred retailer, because the pre-order incentive program is now in effect.
The process works in a three tier system, with the earliest pre-orders getting the most spoils. As of today, we're in Tier One, and players who order from today until March 3 get a Japanese voiceover DLC, and an automatic unlock for two other bonuses.
Tier Two kicks off as soon as Tier One ends, March 4, and goes until April 8. Ordering at this point nets you the two unannounced bonuses. Finally, April 9 begins Tier Three, and is active 'til launch. This is a Johnny come lately affair, as ordering during this period gets you only the final unannounced bonus.
So to emphasize, if you want all three bonuses, make sure to put in your order before March 4.
Square Enix also announced a Collector's Edition of the game, seen above, offering its own share of extra goodies, including the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. A press release had all the details:

- Prequel Stage DLC - Play as Zero's sister, One, in this additional level
- Caim Costume DLC - Protagonist of the original Drakengard (Once equipped, stamina consumption decreases by half when using a skill)

- Drakengard 3 Collectible Poster
The Collector's Edition is extremely limited at 5,000 copies, so again, better put in your order now, and keep some extra bucks handy, the Collector's Edition comes in at $79.99, available exclusively the Square Enix Online Store . If extras don't interest you, there's still the Standard Edition for the far cheaper price of $49.99, which you can also grab as a digital download.
