There is much anticipation for "Diablo 3" upcoming "Rise of the Necromancer" DLC as it will bring back the fan favorite hero class. But more than that, the anticipation stems from rumors that suggest the arrival of one game mode that some "Diablo III" players have been longing for - Player vs. Player (PVP).
There has been a lot of talk regarding the PVP mode in the Diablo gamers community as some have been wanting to have this game feature in "Diablo." In 2013, a fan of the franchise called out to Blizzard Entertainment for not fulfilling its promise of bringing the feature to the game. Now that Blizzard is set to release "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" in 2017, PVP fanatics have once again stirred up rumors of the game mode arriving along with the update.
"Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" has already been confirmed to be a paid content, but this somehow didn't sit well with other players, believing that Blizzard should just offer the next DLC for free to make up for the PVP promise that it broke. On the other hand, there are also a group of players who believe that "Diablo" was never about players fighting against other players, but will always be about crawling through dungeons and finding loot.
It remains to be seen what new features will come with the "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC, but Blizzard already confirmed that it will grant an in-game pet, more stash tabs for PC players, two extra character slots, banner and banner sigil, a portrait frame and a pennant. There are also speculations as to the game's storyline.
According to rumors, "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" will feature a new chapter to the story that will highlight the story of the Necromancer class and its beginnings. It is believed that the hero, which will have a female and male version, will be playable in story mode and adventure mode.
Will Blizzard finally bring a PVP game mode in "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer?" Will the game be better off with this feature? Sound off in the comments below!
