Manchester City vs. Arsenal Preview
Pablo Zabaleta and David Silva helped ease pressure on manager Pep Guardiola by scoring against Watford on Wednesday in the 2-0 win. Zabaleta opened the scoring on the 33rd minute while Silva iced the game in the 86th minute.
However, Manchester City received some bad news when Ilkay Gundogan was diagnosed with a torn ACL which will keep him out for the rest of the season. Nevertheless, Guardiola is looking forward to their meeting against Arsenal and he has some praise for Arsene Wenger.
"I understand it's not easy to win the Premier League, but I have a lot of respect for his career. I admire the way he tries to play and especially the quality of the players they like and they buy. If we are lazy and not strong enough, they have the quality to hurt us," Guardiola said, via The Telegraph.
On the other hand, Arsenal is looking to bounce back after Everton handed them their first loss since Week 1 on Tuesday. Alexis' opener in the 20th was not enough as Everton scored two to give them a 2-1 win.
