It's been a while since Square Enix launched "Final Fantasy XV," and the momentum of their 10-year effort has yet to wind down. Fortunately for fans, there's still the six expansion packs expected for the game, including Episodes Ignis, Promptus and Gladio--Noctis' allies--and Comrades, the online coop multiplayer game.
All six "Final Fantasy XV" DLCs will venture into previously uncharted territory in the main game. But if that's not enough to convince players to get them, then perhaps news about the inclusion of Gilgamesh, who will only be available in Episode Gladio. The question now is: Will it be worth the money?
Episode Gladio and Gilgamesh
Of the six "Final Fantasy XV" DLC expansion packs, Episode Gladio might be the most special. According to "Final Fantasy XV" producer Haruyoshi Sawatari, it will explore why and how Gladio got a scar when he said he will be out for business. Moreover, Episode Gladio will be exclusively bringing back the classic villain Gilgamesh.
For faithful "Final Fantasy" fans, Gilgamesh is known as a sword thief and a powerful fighter who has appeared in different forms throughout the franchise, reported iDigital Times. It's likely that he will come with a new and different form in "Final Fantasy XV" DLC: Episode Gladio as well. Interestingly, Gilgamesh is a comedic character, one who always breaks the fourth wall and even comes with his own soundtrack, "Battle of the Big Bridge," according to Digital Spy.
Mind-blowing content
But apart from the six "Final Fantasy XV" DLCs, president Hajime Tabata revealed that they plan on expanding the main game further. They will be introducing new scenes, a God mode, customizeable avatars and additional playable characters outside Noctis, Gladio, Ignis and Promptus, GameSpot reported.
