It's been a harrowing season for the characters in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeuhn) and Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) were killed during the much talked-about premiere, while Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) was kidnapped by the Saviors. Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) reign of terror continues to torment Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group, but luckily for them, they might be able to catch a break during the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
But how exactly will they gain the upper hand in "The Walking Dead" Season 7? Here's a roundup of everything you need to know about the second half of the AMC zombie series: spoilers, updates, news, air dates and more.
Negan to 'get his' soon
In an interview with The Wrap, Andrew Lincoln talked about everyone's hatred for Negan and how soon they will get their sweet revenge against the sadistic murderer. He revealed that Rick wasn't good company during the first eight episodes of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, after losing his closest friends and nearly losing Daryl to the Saviors.
But now that he's finally reunited with Daryl, he might be ready to rise up to the tyrant. He hinted that the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 was the complete opposite of the first half. So perhaps fans can expect a little vengeance against Negan and the Saviors.
Daryl broken?
Of course, one big worry among "The Walking Dead" Season 7 viewers is how Daryl's abduction affected him. After all, he's beaten a man to death with a pipe, and went through a very emotional crisis under Negan's thumb. Sure, he's back, but he's not the same Daryl as he was before. Could Negan have broken him? Or has it made him angry enough to help Rick in their uprising? Stay tuned for more details and updates on "The Walking Dead" Season 7, which returns on February 2017 on AMC.
