With iOS 10.2 having been officially released, Pangu is reportedly ready to release their iOS 10 jailbreak tool.
With the new features, both security and otherwise, of the iOS 10.2, it is undeniable that jailbreak tools would be essentially less effective. It has also been reported that the iOS 10.2 update actually brings a lot of improvements and patches to secure the Apple devices' vulnerabilities. With this, Pangu is just holding off to release the iOS 10 jailbreak tool until the latest update is already stable.
Some sources have claimed that the iOS 10 is actually unbreakable, thanks to the layers of security that Apple has implemented. However, reports have stated that there might be an encryption exploit through iPhone backups with the iOS 10. This may then be the doorway for hackers to easily infiltrate the mobile OS and craft their iOS 10 jailbreak tool.
This then means that the iOS 10 jailbreak tool is not impossible to release, as hackers actually already have an access to crack the OS. The likes of Pangu and Luca Todesco might even have an iOS 10 jailbreak tool ready at the moment.

It has also been speculated that Pangu may be working with 25PP for the iOS 10 jailbreak tool. The up and coming team is said to be assisting Pangu to point out the security holes that could be exploited in iOS 10.2 to create the jailbreak tool.
While nothing has officially been confirmed yet, Pangu has previously stated that they will be releasing the iOS 10 jailbreak tool once the iOS 10.2 final version comes out, which has already happened. With this, we can only expect the iOS 10 jailbreak tool to be released soon.
