About a month ago, news broke that China's tech giant, Huawei is making steps to break into the U.S.A. smartphone market with their latest device, the Huawei Mate 9. It seems like they're not slowing down anytime soon.
In the latest news, Huawei bringing the Mate 9 to the "Land Down Under" has surfaced, giving the Aussies a chance to experience Huawei's premium phablet, acording to Finder. Huawei has just recently unveiled their new Mate 9 phablet last November, but it was later announced that the premium phablet will reach Australia in the first quarter of 2017 and it will go on sale.
Compared to competitor products which largely revolve around Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipsets, the Mate 9 has its own Huawei's Kirin chips, specifically the Kirin 960. Back in November, Huawei revealed two models of the Mate 9 with a standalone model with a higher resolution display. It has additional storage and RAM. As of writing this article, no words form Huawei if it will release that model here in Australia at this stage.
Huawei Mate 9 includes the latest EMUI 5 software. This has been added to make easier to keep home screen uncluttered. With that, you can leave apps that you don't often use in the drawer.
How to enable app drawer
Enabling this app is easy, according to Android Central. You just need to drag down your Notification shade and press the cog icon so you can go to Settings. Once you enter the setting, tap Home Screen Style, then select drawer.
To check your app drawer, go back to your home screen, then you can re-arrange the apps. Take note, you need re-arrange the apps in the new launcher because the widget placements can't be carried over.
