"Narcos" Season 3 has already been confirmed to air in 2017; however, the production team and its network, Netflix, have yet to provide the specifics of its premiere. Despite the lack of information coming from the people behind the series, rumors and speculations all over the Internet have already revealed some of its possible storylines. New reports have emerged suggesting that aside from new drug cartels, "Narcos" Season 3 will also feature new characters and some returning cast members.
Although the powerful drug lord Pablo Escobar has already met his death in the last episode of the previous run, the actor playing the infamous character, Wagner Moura, is expected to come back in "Narcos" Season 3. Apparently, several flashbacks of Pablo Escobar will be featured next season to provide a clear story on how the other major drug cartels in Colombia have started their business.
According to a report by Deadline, "Narcos" Season 3 will most likely focus on the group that served as Pablo Escobar's partner then rival in the previous seasons. The Cali Cartel is said to grow stronger without Pablo Escobar in the picture, and the group will become more difficult to stop as they increase its network to other countries.
In another report, "Argo" actress Kerry Bishé is expected to join the cast members in "Narcos" Season 3 as she sets to play an American who marries a Colombian she met in college. According to the report, her husband will get involved in the drug business and put their life in danger.
Meanwhile, previous reports suggested that Boyd Holbrook, who played the role of DEA agent Steve Murphy, is not coming back for "Narcos" Season 3. However, new reports have emerged suggesting that the actor is currently negotiating with the production company to reprise its role in the third season of the series. Nonetheless, fans are still waiting for the official statement from Netflix. Stay tuned for more news and updates about "Narcos" Season 3.
