"Grand Theft Auto 6" is one of the most anticipated video games that are expected to happen in the next few years. The success of the current game, "GTA 5," is definitely putting a lot of pressure on the game developer to develop a new installment that is as exciting if not better than its predecessor. While the world is waiting for its release, reports are circulating that "GTA 6" is currently not a part of Rockstar Games' plans for future developments.
Apparently, the company will continue to provide fresh content for "GTA 5," which means that the release of "Grand Theft Auto 6" might not happen in the next five years or so. The current production of the 2010's western action-adventure video game, "Red Dead Redemption 2," might also cause a major problem in the development of "GTA 6." It is expected that Rockstar Games will also continue to create expansions or updates for "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the next few months or even years after its release.
In another report about "Grand Theft Auto 6," if Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive will develop the sequel in anytime soon, Grown Gaming suggests that "GTA 6" might be set in London. Although there are several popular cities mentioned in many rumors about the game, London is said to be number one choice of the game developer. Nonetheless, cities like Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Russia, Moscow and Vice City are also being considered. There are Also reports saying that Rockstar Games might release another DLC for "GTA 5" with one of the cities mentioned.
Meanwhile, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is also being rumored to have a VR or virtual reality feature once it becomes available in 2020. If rumors prove to be true, "GTA 6" would be the best installment to experience the iconic video game in a different way. Stay tuned for more news and update about "Grand Theft Auto 6" and "GTA 5."
