The battle for supremacy between Android and iOS devices has long started. Which mobile phone lineups are better? Is Google's Pixel or Apple's iPhone 7?
Apple and Google have released a substantially powerful mobile phone lineup this year. For Google, they have their Pixel and Pixel XL and for Apple the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The million dollar question is, which is better?
No matter what experts and the spokesperson from both behemoth tech companies will say, at the end of the day, it is the consumers who will decide. Nowadays, one main selling point of mobile devices is its camera setup. Here's a comparison of Google Pixel and Apple iPhone 7 on this aspect.
In terms of the Camera, Apple iPhone 7 has a main shooter of 12 MP camera with a f/1.8 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, optical image stabilization (OIS), two-toned quad-LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, face and smile detection, touch focus, panoramic capture (with HDR), video at 2160p and 720p. This is certainly a lot for Google Pixel to conquer. Google Pixel's main shooter is a 12.3 MP setup, with a f/2.0 aperture, phase detection & laser auto-focus, electronic image stabilization (EIS), two-toned dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, face detection, touch focus, panoramic capture, video at 2160p, 1080p, and 720p.
For selfie aficionados out there, Google Pixel and Pixel XL has an 8 MP front-facing camera with a f/2.4 aperture while the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 7 MP front-facing camera with a f/2/2 aperture. Google's phone lineup seems to outdo Apple's lineup on this one.
If you can see, both the Google Pixel and Apple iPhone 7 has a head-to-head camera setup. They only have slight differences, though there are reports that the photos from Google's Pixel are much crisp and rich compared to Apple's iPhone 7.
Again, as mentioned earlier, it would depend on the consumer's preference whether to go with Apple's iPhone 7 or Google's Pixel. Both phones are amazing in their own way.
