iOS 9.3.x Jailbreak Latest News & Update: Web-Based Loader Ready For Use Thanks To Lucas Todesco

For the Apple Jailbreaking Community, the attention right now is on the much-awaited iOS 10 jailbreak from Pangu. iOS 10.2 is out and as most know, the long overdue hack was believed to be rolling out once the Cupertino company releases their latest mobile OS version.

With no word on when that may happen, there are previous iOS versions which are getting a bit of an update. The hitch is that this only covers the untethered iOS jailbreak version for Pangu 9.3.3 that comes in the form of a loader.

Much of the credit goes to Lucas Todesco who is behind the release of the latest web-based exploit. The WebKit is pretty simple to use. All users have to do is open it and they will be directed to a URL on Safari where they can unlock their device with a push of a button, Neurogadget reported.

Aside from being an untethered version, the fact that this exploit is browser-based and does not require a developer certificate makes it a good alternative to Apple jailbreaking fans. The only catch is that it is limited to the ones who are still on iOS 9.3.x.

Regardless, it appends the list of available iOS jailbreaks available in the market. Todesco has been one of the many users claiming to have jailbroken iOS 10 though most have been limited to show.

The good news is that with this web-based exploit release for iOS 9.3.x, he may eventually come up with an iOS 10 jailbreak which Pangu and other hacking groups have failed to achieve. It all depends on when and how he can make a credible iOS jailbreak public.

While folks still on iOS 9.3.x can jump for joy, the same cannot be said for the ones on iOS 10. With iOS 10.2 officially out, the clock is ticking on whether Pangu (or some other hacker) does have an iOS 10 jailbreak on their end. Much of this was covered in a previous post.
