"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is coming to the big screens in January. Alice, the main protagonist of the movie series, is forced to go home to Raccoon City, the home base of Umbrella Corporation. She had been contacted by the Red Queen to save the remaining survivors. The travel to the home base is full of dangers and adventures but the deep secret uncovered is much more terrifying.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter's" storyline continuously follows the story plot of "Resident Evil: Retribution." According to sources, Jill, Ada, Leon and Becky died in the introduction of the movie. As Alice is wandering around, The Red Queen contacted her saying there are around 4000 human survivors left around the world and she had to go to Raccoon City to stop Umbrella Corp. from wiping them all in 48 hours.
Alice decided to go to Raccoon City where the T-virus was first unleashed 10 years ago turning all that are infected into walking corpses. She met with Claire and her comrades who decided to help Alice on this mission. Claire also informed her that Chris is dead. On the way to Raccoon City, the group encountered a lot of zombies and they had to fight hard to reach their destination. There were a lot of running and fighting and explosions since the zombies now mutated into beast-like creatures. The Red Queen also informed them of the airborne antidote located in the Hive, the Umbrella Corp's Main Base. In "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," a shocking fact was disclosed by the Red Queen -- there is a traitor within the group.
Later on, it was revealed in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" that Alice is a clone and the real Alice is already 80 years old and she is the founder of Umbrella. This explains why Alice is immune to the virus and the many instances where she found herself with no memories. All the while Alice is fighting herself which also makes her the traitor. The real Alice is then killed by Wesker stating that the game has been played for a long time already. Wesker and Clone Alice fought to the end, killing each other in the process. The antidote is then found by Claire and the remaining members of their team and release to save humanity.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. The main characters for this sequel are Milla Jovovich as Alice, Ruby Rose as Abigail, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker, Ever Anderson as Alicia Marks and The Red Queen, Iain Glen as Dr. Alexander Isaacs, Rola as Cobalt, William Levy as Christian and Joon-Gi Lee as Lee. The 1 hour and 46 minutes of action, horror and sci-fi film will be released on Jan. 27, 2017.
