The long wait is over! After Niantic announced last week via their official Twitter account that they'll give out details about the new set of Pokemon coming to "Pokemon Go," the time has finally come. Some of the rumored information that the dataminers have gathered turns out to be true, like the cute Baby Pokemon Pichu and Togepi, who will be in the mobile game right now but only for a limited time.

"Professor Willow has discovered Togepi and Pichu hatching from Eggs! Starting later today, Trainers will have the opportunity to hatch these and several other Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Johto Region in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games," the Pokemon Go team said in their official website. Today marks the beginning of the special treat to the "Pokemon Go" Trainers and will only last until 10:00 a.m. PST, Dec. 29, 2016.
According to Kotaku, in order for you to obtain the Topepi and Pichu in "Pokmon Go," players need to travel to the nearest PokeStop and spin to obtain an egg. In order to hatch a Togepi and Pichu, players need to walk a 5km distance while the Togepi will evolve into a Togetic for 50 Tegepi candies.
In addition to the Generation 2 Baby Pokemon in "Pokemon Go," players can also obtain a Magmar, Elekid, Cleffa, Igglypuff and Smoochum. Fairy types, Igglybuff and Cleffa needs a 2k distance to hatch from while Magby, Elekid and Smoochum will require 10 km distance to hatch from.
The only Baby Pokemon missing in the list the baby form of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, Tyrogue including Hitmontop according to Forbes. Another rumor in "Pokemon Go" from the dataminers that became true is the Pokemon costumes.
In spirit of the holiday season, "Pokemon Go" trainers can obtain a limited edition of the iconic Pokemon, Pikachu that will wear a Santa hat. "Pokemon Go" players are encouraged to use the GO AR camera and share to their social media together with the hashtag, #HolidayPikachu.
