The most awaited action role-playing game by Bioware is set for a Spring 2017 release. With the release of the official 4k trailer almost two weeks ago, fans are given a glimpse of the setting, the gameplay, the features, and the story plot of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Six squad mates were confirmed so far but reports are saying that there could be more.
In a phone interview with Eurogamer "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Producer and Creative Director, Fabrice Condominas and Mac Walters, respectively, shared a lot of details have been uncovered. During the phone patch certain characters on the trailer, such as Sloanne Kelly, has been mentioned. The trailer is based on the Mass Effect Novel named "Nexus Uprising." The scene is an overview of what happened with one Ark and there are more Arks out there waiting for the player to be discovered. The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is an open world game so a lot of characters are out there waiting to meet the players. According to sources a couple of these characters can aid the players to win certain challenges.
According to the report, a squadmate that was in development was not included in the final game of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." This squad mate might not be on the game but there is a big possibility that he will be on the comic or novel according to Walter. Walter also mentioned that a lot could be done to the game since it is an open world. A new squad mate or other characters can be introduced later in the game as a downloadable character. "I wasn't ruling it out, I think I meant, but it's certainly possible we'll bring in new characters before we get to a Mass Effect Andromeda 2", Walters added. He also said that the "Culture Center," which is a part of Nexus, represents the different characters and species on the game. It can also expand in the future when new worlds are introduced.
