If you are an ardent FIFA fan, then by this time, you should have easily completed a couple of seasons with your respective clubs, provided you are sitting with it all day (and hopefully following our lists for signing players). With your players carrying on your respective seasons, we believe that the least we can do is to guide you toward guys who are worth signing into your team.
Similar to the weeks before, we are back again with a brand new list of EA recommended young talent that are must have additions to anyone’s team.
This is the fourth and final part of the three week long list of players that we have been putting up. You can always go back to the previous lists for further references on who to sign. Here are the first, the second and the third part of the list.
As always, the players have been listed according to their name, club, and position.
Leon Goretzka, Schalke 04, CM: Goretzka may only be 18 but there’s a big reason why modern day giants like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Real Madrid were fighting out for this kid’s signature in real life, before the German decided to head move over to Gelsenkirchen.
First off, you will not be able to sign Goretzka when you start the game since the player just arrived at Schalke. However, as stated earlier, if you are a couple of seasons into the game, then it shouldn’t be an issue signing him, provided he hasn’t already switched clubs.
Goretzka’s biggest asset lies in the fact that the player is an all-rounder in its truest sense. This means that you can deploy him in almost any position in the midfield. With a starting overall of 68 that moves to a potential of 86, Goretzka can offer a huge boost with his ball control and passing attributes that look to improve quickly if played regularly.
Check him out below (although the video is a bit dated).
Ishak Belfodil, Inter Milan, ST: Algerian striker Ishak Belfodil is Inter’s newest signing this year, and similar to the situation with Goretzka, he should be available for purchase by now.
While Belfodil is not the kind of a striker that you would play (or want to play) upfront. He can be best utilized as a partner for your main striker until the time comes when you feel that he’s ready to take things on his own.
Featuring a starting overall of 75 that can reach up to a potential of 85, this 21 year old is best known for his balance with the ball and his towering presence in the game with his massive 6ft 4in build.
As far as technically sound players are concerned, Belfodil is right in that list with his impressive technical abilities to keep the ball and bring others into the play, as well as skills as a dribbler and a finisher.
We recommend that if you are just starting out on your Career, try to get the player on loan since he will not be available for a permanent move at start. If the loan attempt fails as well, at least shortlist him for the future. Check him out below.
Lucas Piazon, Chelsea, LM: Lucas Piazon is probably the only player that the whole world knows by now, and is probably the most recognized player of all four lists we've put up.
While only 19, this young Brazilian has already been noted as a future star with a bright prospect that’s currently limited to playing loans. But he’s worth the wait if you are looking for a left winger that can also play just behind the strikers.
At the start of the game, Piazon will be serving his loan term with Dutch side Vitesse. But with a starting overall of 73 that can reach a potential of 85, we are guessing that you will be willing to wait for him before he completes his loan term and heads back to London. See what he’s capable of below.
Ola John, Benfica, LM: Ola John is a player that I came across a few weeks ago in FIFA 14, when Benfica was playing Arsenal in a pre-season friendly and was adjudged the man of the match after a harrowing 1-1 draw (in which I got lucky). I checked up a bit on the player after the game and what I found was impressive.
This Liberian-born Dutch winger has a starting overall of 77 that can reach a potential of 85, with his biggest strength probably being his ability to execute perfect crosses if played on the left rather than right.
As far as pace and speed are concerned, you will be happy to know that John is an extremely quick footballer who also boasts four star skill moves and cool dribbling skills. However, owing to the fact that he’s already a big prospect for the future, it won’t be easy to make Benfica sell him. But keep him in your shortlist and enquire about him as much as possible once the transfer window goes live. You might just get lucky. Check him out below.
Tonny Vilhena, Feyenoord, CM: Tonny Emilio Trindade de Vilhena (phew!) is only 18, but a couple hundred bucks say you won’t regret signing him.
A product of the Feyenoord Rotterdam Youth Academy, this Dutch youngster is very quick. In fact he’s so quick that he’s as effective in attack as he is in defense. And with a starting overall of 73 that can reach a potential of 85, it seems like he’s filled with confidence and comfort whether keeping the ball or passing it around.
Unlike others in the list, Vilhena shouldn’t be a difficult catch since he’s already spent a season with the club. While we are expecting that you will meet with some stress while signing the player since the club already knows about his potential, you should apply for a loan anyway to bring him over for a season to see exactly what you’re dealing with. As I said, you won’t be disappointed. Check below if you’re frustrated with me telling you how good a player he is all the time.
