The new Survival mode for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has been revealed a few weeks back and it will push players to the limits since the only way to finish it is by surviving against 50 waves of opponents. New details have also emerged for the upcoming game mode during the PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2016, and it seems that it is more than just surviving.
It was reported recently that Vinit Agarwal, one of Naughty Dog's designers, has given new info about the Survival mode of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Beating the new mode will not just be done by eliminating all of the enemies, and there are five kinds of objectives in order to come out victorious. The first objective is called Survival and this is where gamers would need to kill the required number of enemies. Another one is Siege where gamers should work with each other in taking down opponents from a specific location.
Other objectives in the newest mode of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" also include Treasure Race and the main goal is to gather the treasures situated around the map while dealing with the pirates. The fourth one Is Marked Man which only requires killing one specific enemy. Finally, the Boss Waves may be the most difficult objective since it will deal with pirate ghosts and will require a lot of teamwork with other players.
Furthermore, Survival mode will consist of 50 waves that are separated into 10 stages. Gamers will also need to dedicate a lot of time for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" once again since it will take a lot of time before beating the Survival mode. There is a possibility that each stage will take about 15-20 minutes. If players are not able to play it online, an AI ally will support them instead.
There is no exact release date yet for the Survival mode of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." However, it is expected to launch within the week and new details will be announced during their live-stream event on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
