Gamers who enjoy the action-adventure PlayStation 4 video game "Uncharted 4" would be glad to know that Naughty Dog's launching new wave-based survival co-op mode tomorrow. Tagged "Survival," the new mode will let gamers explore 10 stages that has five waves each.
The news comes via PlayStation Lifestyle, which reports that the new wave-based "Survival" co-op mode for "Uncharted 4" will feature five types of objectives. These are "Survival," wherein gamers must kill all enemies, and "Siege," in which enemies from a particular location. "Treasure Race" lets gamers collect treasure in a map, while "Marked Man" requires gamers to kill a specific target. Lastly, "Boss Waves" will let gamers kill pirate ghosts and will begin with an awesome cinematic intro that will showcase a specific villain.
There will be a livestream event tomorrow for the new wave-based "Survival" co-op mode for "Uncharted 4." The event will give gamers a first look at the awesome new maps, mode, weapons, and other items to explore. Naughty Dog's livestream event will begin at 11:00 a.m. PT/2:00 ET/8:00 p.m. CET tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that the new wave-based "Survival" co-op mode for "Uncharted 4" will come free to gamers. It will enable gamers to team up with up to two friends to battle "swarms of increasingly powerful enemies."
According to Naughty Dog, each stage in "Survival" will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The "Boss Waves" will feature the pirate Henry Avery, among other enemies. Gamers can also team up with an AI partner that can serve as a stand in while your friend isn't around to play.
