Fans completely cannot wait to experience "Mass Effect: Andromeda" next year on multiple gaming platforms, that's why some avid gamers are uneasy to the fact Bioware has taken too long to develop the game's sequel. Hardcore gamers were promised that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" should be released on March 2017, until Bioware announced that a spring release should be enough to complete the game.
Late Release For 'Mass Effect: Andromeda'?
According to Bioware game producer Fabrice Condominas, fans should not be worried about anything as far as the release date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is concerned. Condominas further stated that Bioware is focusing on "Mass Effect: Andromeda" quality and is the top priority the team is concern right now.
Bioware producer added that when the developers are 100 percent sure to release "Mass Effect: Andromeda", Bioware will give the specific date to its release in 2017. For now, Bioware team is currently eyeing the game quality and how "Mass Effect: Andromeda" looks like in gaming platforms.
New Characters In 'Mass Effect: Andromeda'
Meanwhile, creative director Mac Walters revealed yet another details for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" regarding protagonist, Ryder's companions. Bioware creative director did answer some questions in an interview along with "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer Fabrice Condominas.
First up, when asked if six squad mates for Ryder is enough for "Mass Effect: Andromeda", Walters responded that six is a good number and that's how the team has have in the process. Next, when Walters was asked about the other member that didn't make the cut, Walters stated that game development has always have some decisions - there's always going to be scope reductions.
Bioware creative director further explained that the development team decided that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have every squad doing loyalty missions, meaning every squad has different missions, plus special relationship dialogue. Walters added that the only reason the character was removed from "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was that it takes long to develop characters in a game along with other important things in the background.
Walters did state that the removed character could be added to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" upcoming DLCs when the game releases next year. Walter states that there's a lot of ways Bioware can add characters squad mates in "Mass Effect: Andromeda", whether by one-offs for a mission or expansion packs.
