Problems for Battlefield 4 are seemingly ongoing, but DICE staff are doing the best they can to stay on top of things. The company recently rolled out updates for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
There's no patch list as of yet for the Xbox 360 version, but according to a Battlelog post, the update, "has a few stability improvements and crash fixes, coupled with miscellaneous minor tweaks" for the game's multiplayer mode. It weighs in at 260 MB, and players will get a notification to download the update once they start up the game.
The PC update arrived earlier, consisting of some similar minor tweaks, as well as a crash fix. Check out the complete list of patch notes below:
R11 PC SERVER UPDATE CHANGE LIST
- Fixed a common server crash
- Fixed an exploit where a player could get unlimited ammo on mortars by redeploying them
- Fixed an issue where your score displayed in the scoreboard was cut in half during double xp events
- Removed the possibility for server admins to kick players on official servers by using PunkBuster
- Game mode counter can now be set up to 400% for Ranked servers and 500% for Unranked servers. In addition, idle time out can now be set up to 86 400 (24 hours) for both server types
Another update for the PC version of the game is currently in the works, and DICE is planning to release it sometime next week.
It's nice to see that the developer is working on keeping errors at bay, but the PS4 version is still suffering, especially with EA brass outright denying problems players are reporting for the next-gen version. DICE seems more open to the issues, but as of now, there are only temporary fixes.
Meanwhile, more info about the game's forthcoming Second Assault DLC just keep coming. After we've had some details and a sneak peek at the DLC's maps and Levolution features, it seems that the trophies / achievements have sneaked out, courtesy of Exophase. Check out the full list below:

Battlefield 4 stars a new protagonist to the series, that of Sergeant Daniel Recker, a member of the elite Tombstone Squad. He and the squad learn that an Admiral is in the midst of planning a coup to overthrow the current Chinese regime, with Russia ready to back him up.
You don't have to be an expert in foreign relations and politics to realize this would cause one hell of a domino effect that would see the whole planet embroiled in war.
Battlefield 4 is currently available now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360, and as of today, the Xbox One. The China Rising DLC is expected to arrive this December, and will be exclusive to the Xbox platforms for 30 days. Still no word on a release date for the Second Assault DLC.
