Apple is expected to release a new breed of iPad Pro 2 tablets in 2017, likely to sport all-new features both internally and externally. With most eager to see how the alleged three tablets will be, can the Cupertino company come up with impressive mobile devices?
To date, most of the things coming out of the grapevine have gotten most excited about the iPad Pro 2. There are reportedly three models coming – 9.7-, 10.9- and 12.9-inch variants.
As far as the striking features of the iPad Pro 2, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has made his call led by the potential use of OLED screens. As mentioned in a previous post, this may happen in the first quarter or 2018. The reason behind this dish is that Apple may initially introduce the jump to the new screen technology with the iPhone 8.
However, there is a chance that the AMOLED technology could come out as early as 2017. This is with the assumption that Apple releases the iPad Pro 2 alongside the iPhone 8, Mac Rumors reported.
If such happens, it could signal a pretty energy-efficient iPad Pro 2. Looking back to the MacBook Pro 2017, this was the focus of the Cupertino company though not all were happy with it. With an Intel Skylake processor and a 16 GB RAM limit, most were concerned with the lack of power the laptop would bring. The same is expected for the iPad Pro 2.
In terms of design, the iPad Pro 2 is expected to sport a big refresh. That includes the removal of the home button and the 3.5 mm jack, both of which remain as rumors for now.
Inside, the iPad Pro 2 could settle for an A10X chip, a 12 MP dual-lens main camera, Touch ID support and improved Apple Pencil interface. Could these specs be enough to render a big bite in 2017?
