Tickets for the opening weekend of "Fifty Shades Darker" are now available for purchase online. Ticket sales opened following the release of the second trailer, which has now gained over a million views.
Fans can now secure an opening weekend seat to watch "Fifty Shades Darker" in cinemas. Fandango has opened the ticket sales ahead of the film's theater release on Feb. 10, 2017.
This is the earliest ticket sales opening in the history of the "Fifty Shades" movie. Cinemas started selling tickets for the first film, "Fifty Shades of Grey," in January. Perhaps the two-month advance sales will prompt fans to purchase the tickets as a Christmas present or as an advance Valentine's gift.
It is likely that tickets for the third film, "Fifty Shades Freed," will also come out in February. They may become available for purchase online following the theater release of "Fifty Shades Darker."
Meanwhile, Fandango opened the ticket sales for "Fifty Shades Darker" after the release of the second trailer. Trailer two saw the billionaire Christian Grey beg Anastasia Steele to take him back. Then the usual BDSM scenes take place after Anastasia falls prey to his charms once again.
The second trailer for "Fifty Shades Darker" also introduced viewers to Christian's ex-girlfriend Leila. Her appearance in the sequel adds mystery and suspense to the usual sex-themed element in the movie.
Likewise, the second trailer confirmed previous spoilers that "Fifty Shades Darker" will center on Christian Grey's romantic feelings for Anastasia Steel. The BDSM-loving billionaire has fallen for the once-was-timid college graduate.
The second trailer for "Fifty Shades Darker" has now reached over two million views since it was released this week. The official YouTube page for "Fifty Shades" unveiled the preview on Wednesday. It now has 2,303,903 viewers as we speak, three days into its initial release.
