When a game offers multiplayer capabilities over a space of a massive open world, there are bound to be a few problems here and there, and such is the case with Ubisoft’s Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. Thankfully, it seems like the company is already aware of the issues and is taking measures to avoid any future hassles.
“We've seen reports about connection issues and [are] actively investigating this with members of the community and internally," Ubisoft wrote on its official Twitter page.
Although the company recently confirmed connectivity issues, it's yet unknown which versions of the game are being affected.
It's expected that Ubisoft will release fixes in the form of an update for the game sooner than later. The company confirmed via another tweet that a new title update is currently undergoing certification with Microsoft and Sony, writing, "for Current Gen we have TU2 in the pipeline with 1st parties now. There's been about 275 fixes implemented.”
In yet another tweet from the developer, Ubisoft mentioned that the new changes will bring modifications to Wolfpack's balancing and tweaks for scoring, alongside fixes for crashes and exploits, and more. However, a specific release date for the patch has not yet been announced.
While we're talking about updates, it has been reported that anupdate for the game has been leaked ahead of the launch of the PC version of the game.
According to Guru3D’s member ‘JonasBeckman,’ as noted by DSOGaming, Ubisoft is planning a day-one patch for the game that will upgrade the game’s version to 1.1. You can see a complete changelog for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Update 1.1 below:
