"The Originals" Season 4 is set to premiere on March 17, 2017. With the exciting events that transpired last season for Klaus and Haley, their daughter Hope might be the only fighting chance for their family.
"The Originals" Season 4 will be set five years after Marcel had already defeated Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelsons. Given the time jump, the fans will be meeting a more mature Hope. She will then be partnering with her mother Haley to save Klaus and seek revenge against Marcel. As of yet, all the Mikaelson siblings are too weak to fight. Klaus was then staked by the Tunde Blade in "The Originals" Season 3, which makes him feel continuous and terrible pain. However, as the souls of Freya, Kol, and Rebeka are tethered to him, their bodies could not decay, but they are in deep sleep.
Given these conditions, "The Originals" Season 4 may see Hope being the only fighting chance that the Mikaelson family has. With all three supernatural genes present in her blood, Hope is predicted to gain tremendous powers. All the witch, vampire, and werewolf blood are running in her veins, which would essentially give her extraordinary abilities in "The Originals" Season 4.
Actor Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus in the series, has hinted in his Instagram account that "The Originals" Season 4 will be filled with a lot of betrayal and blood spill. In his post, he said that someone will be betrayed, which would involve someone being eventually staked.
Morgan then went on to say that in "The Originals" Season 4, enemies will finally become friends, and some friends will ultimately become enemies. With this premise, strange and new alliances are bound to be formed.
"The Originals" Season 4 will see a lot more family drama among the Mikaelsons, as they have already been freed from the curse. Kol might also be exacting his revenge against Klaus, after he had previously planned Davina's death. "The Originals" Season 4 might also see Rebekah leaving the family once again.
