“Westworld’s” finale answered a lot of questions but a lot of questions came out also, like who is actually who and what is when? What did the fans just watched? What is the story behind the story? The answers to these questions will have to wait until 2018 to be answered, or maybe even then they won’t.
According to Business Insider, the creators of the show Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy on December 5, they announced that your favorite show will return in 2018. While they were shooting the second episode, they realized the complexity of trying to write and produce the show at the same time. There is a complicated storyline fans need to re-watch in order to understand, they are facing two actors who are playing one character and one actor playing two characters.
According to Rolling Stone, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) was the old narrative villain known as Wyatt (Sorin Brouwers), an experiment made manifest who puts a bullet in Ford’s (Anthony Hopkins) head apparently per his decades-long plan. Now that a lot of questions have been answered, there are twice as much arising, what is the story behind the story? Nolan said the humans are made good in this story, but what if they made robots the good ones and people the horrible ones?
According to Hollywood Reporter, Wood said she is hoping to play many, many different characters in the show over the years. Apparently, the fans are not the only ones who can’t figure out what is happening, Wood admitted that after work she would sit and just think what just happened. By the end of the season 1, Dolores will start to wake up and she will kill Dr. Ford after decades of planning for all the years of manipulation.
